Modular approach
Prototyping PIC32MZ board
This board was designed using Kicad, printed online and assembled at home.
It basically maps each of the pins to the castellated holes.
It integrates an EEPROM, filters for the power supply, pull-up resistors for interrupts and I2C
Wireless network module (3G)
This board allows to communicate with the SIM5360E module with a 1.8V - 5V UART port.
It contains the SIM socket and ESD protections.
First version of the board
Functions of this electronic board :
- Tracking of the vehicle continuously
- Low power consumption thanks to chips’ sleep modes and triggers to wake the board up
- CAN bus interactions
- Multiple integrated sensors (temperature, moisture, accelerations, etc.)
- High current devices control
- Illumination driver
